We all want our phones to provide us a strong signal when we are trying to scroll through memes and videos or more importantly, when we need directions to our next destination, and thanks people like Barton alumnus and mobile phone tower engineer Tinashe Muzenyi we can all have whatever information or entertainment we need at the ready and in high speed.

Barton Students Tyler Reif of Hoisington and Lili Shubert of Wakeeny were awarded the Noyce Teacher Leader Program Scholarship from Fort Hays State University to study STEM education for the fall semester.

Barton Community College has partnered with Medicalodges, Inc. to offer a new apprenticeship program blending classroom instruction with paid on-the-job training. Medicalodges Academy: Pathway to Learning and Earning will allow students to train in areas such as Registered Nursing (RN), Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), and Dietary Manager.
