Foundation Seminars – Recommended for scale technicians with less than three years of experience, our two-hour foundation seminars provide a deeper understanding of the presented material and the opportunity to resolve questions before moving on to the general session and scale training.
Seminars meet before the general session and scale certification training and are adapted to each scale category (small, large, or retail computing).
Foundation seminars do not replace the general session.
General Session – Review of state rules/regulations and HB44 materials necessary to certify all commercial scales in Kansas.
Retail Computing – Small Scales up to 60 lb capacity with a division size of .005, .01, and .02. Scales such as scanner, meat department, and deli scales.
