Nancy Wiebe resigned from the position of Executive Director of Institutional Advancement on Wednesday. The resignation is effective June 30, though cessation of duties is immediate.
Barton Community College and the Center for Adult Education will be closed, and there will be no classes in observance of Labor Day on Sept. 1. Offices will reopen, and classes will resume on Sept. 2.
Barton Community College’s 17th annual Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble, which benefits wounded soldiers from Fort Riley, is set for Sept. 20.
The Barton Community College Board of Trustees has approved a revenue-neutral budget for the 2025-2026 academic year, continuing the College’s commitment to fiscal responsibility.
The Barton Community Music School is now enrolling students for the 2025–2026 academic year, offering students from surrounding communities ages 6–18 access to high-quality, affordable music lessons while providing valuable teaching experience and scholarship support for Barton music students.
The Barton Community College Library has launched a new Library Ambassador Program, designed to strengthen relationships and outreach with area public and high school libraries and communities across the region.
