Nancy Wiebe resigned from the position of Executive Director of Institutional Advancement on Wednesday. The resignation is effective June 30, though cessation of duties is immediate.
The drought monitor, as of Tuesday, February 24th, indicates a slight deterioration from last week in extreme Northwest Kansas and along the Oklahoma border with the most significant decrease (moderate drought with a touch of extreme) in extreme Southeast Kansas.
Barton Community College has announced its list of graduates who earned associate degrees or certificates for career training during the fall semester of 2025.
Barton Community College’s Center for Adult Education is holding orientation days March 2-5 with multiple times available in preparation for its next nine-week session of high school diploma classes, which will start March 9 or 10, depending on which class sessions are signed up for.
The drought monitor, as of Tuesday, February 17th, indicates a improvement from last week with moderately dry in extreme northwest and along the Missouri border and a parts on the Oklahoma border in Southwest and South Central Kansas.
Barton Theatre will bring Bikini Bottom to the stage with the spring musical “The SpongeBob Musical,” March 5-8 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
