High School Business (w/Marketing Emphasis) Teacher

Coursework to include teaching students general business AND marketing principles, strategies, and practical applications. Business/marketing courses may include areas such as advertising, sales, market research, and consumer behavior. Salary will be based on education and experience. Salary range $46,737 to $81,157 dependent upon education and experience based on the 2024-2025 Negotiated Agreement. Current, valid Kansas Teaching License required. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working approximately 37.50 hours per week during the school year. This is an estimated 178 day work schedule (August to May). Good work ethic and attendance is essential to success. Mandatory training throughout the year is required. High School diploma or GED required. Some college hours are preferred. Applicants not having over 40 hours of documented college credit will be required to complete "Master Teacher" training prior to being placed in a classroom. College transcripts showing completed coursework will be required. Part-time positions will be considered. BENEFITS: Paraprofessionals working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, health, and a variety of supplemental insurances. Full-time employees receive 12 days of leave per year (6 personal days, 6 sick days).Salary will be based on education and experience. Hourly rate is $13.95 to $14.93 per hours DOQ.
