New business owners or those wanting to start a business can learn about key components of running a business from area experts on a variety of topics at Barton’s “Start, Run and Grow: Business Ownership Basics” seminar from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings from Sept. 22 to Nov. 10 at the Great Bend Events Center.
Presenters will cover the following topics:
- Management and Company Culture (Sept. 22) Mark Mingenback, Business Consultant and Sally Mauler, The Buckle
- Human Resources (Sept. 29) Brenda Kaiser, Barton County, Lynda Jamison and Sam Jacobs, Adams Brown, LLC

Registration is $325 for all eight sessions and includes sessions, meals and training materials. Early bird registration by Sept. 1 is $300.
