Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Military Studies
This 60-credit degree program equips students with training in fundamental military operations and leadership. Coursework prepares graduates for a wide range of roles, including military leadership, logistics coordination, and hazardous materials handling. At least 15 credit hours must be completed through Barton.
One-Year Certificate Program
For those seeking a faster path to the field, Barton’s Certificate Program offers a 30-credit-hour option focused on Military Leadership, Logistics, and Dangerous Materials Handling. This intensive, streamlined program builds essential technical and operational skills, making it ideal for students seeking direct workforce entry or advancement.
Turn Experience into College Credit
Students may be eligible to earn credit for prior learning through military training, workplace experience, industry certifications, and previous education. Acceptable documentation includes military training records, professional licenses, industry-recognized certificates, and official transcripts.
Credits are evaluated upon written student request and are awarded in accordance with the American Council on Education (ACE) Guide. To earn the AAS degree, students must complete 60 credit hours, with 15 credit hours required through Barton.
