In just one semester, this hands-on, 23-credit-hour certificate will give you the skills you need to enter the workforce with confidence.
From blueprint to build, you’ll master the fundamentals of residential construction. Learn to layout a building site, pour solid foundations, frame and sheath structures, and bring homes to life. Once the frame is standing, you’ll gain practical experience installing windows, doors, stairs, siding, and roofing – everything you need to build a sturdy, beautiful home.

- Accelerated program – certificate requirements are completed in one semester
- Block scheduling allow students to work and go to school – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday – Friday
- Faculty has experience in education and the industry
- Students will earn 10 hour OSHA certification
- Students will earn an NCCER CORE and Carpentry 1 Certification
