Are you interested in how the groups we belong to—families, communities, cultures, and institutions—shape our individual lives? Barton’s Sociology program explores these connections, giving students a deeper understanding of human behavior, social structures, and group dynamics.
A degree in sociology provides a strong foundation for transfer to a four-year institution and opens doors to a variety of career paths. Students build critical thinking, communication, and research skills that are highly valued in today’s job market.
