Barton music students to present recital

The Barton Community College Music Department will present a student recital at 4 p.m. November 20 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, which is located in the Fine Arts Building.

The recital will feature performances by students under the instruction of Director of Instrumental Activities Dr. Luis Palacios, Keyboard Instructor Karole Erikson and Voice Instructor Glenna Gaunt.  There will be a variety of literature performed including vocal art songs, a Mozart aria, musical theatre selections, a Bach prelude, organ duets, a viola concerto and a few holiday selections.

Vocalists performing:  Malia Divilbiss of Great Bend, Brianna Bushell of Wichita, Rileigh Wagner of Larned, Caden Donnenworth of Pratt, Dayton Long of St. John and Alicia Silva of Lyons. 

Keyboardists performing:  Damarys Nieto of Great Bend on piano, Sidney Cooper of Great Bend on piano, McKenna Cape of Great Bend on piano and Sue Ann Peter of Ellinwood and Jennifer Pfortmiller of Hudson on organ.   

Instrumentalists performing: Robert Brining of Great Bend on saxophone, Aaron Schultz of Great Bend on trumpet and Vanessa Mota of Garden City on Viola.
