Barton Community College kicked off Career and Technical Education Month by hosting the 11th Annual Career Fair on campus Friday.
The Barton Community College Library will team up with the English department and Barton’s literary annual “Prairie Ink” staff to host a “Writer’s Workshop” from 6–7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Cavanaugh Room of the Learning Resource Center or via zoom.
Barton Community College’s Theatre Department will launch its first High School Playwrights Festival in spring 2026, offering area high school students the opportunity to write and showcase original theatrical works.
Barton Community College has named 285 students to the President’s List for the fall 2025 semester. To qualify for this honor students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.
Barton Community College has named 317 students to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.
Barton Dance Theatre will host a second Fairytale Kids Camp fundraising event this spring, where children aged three to eleven who love fairy tales can enjoy a camp full of creative expression led by Barton Dance Theatre students from 2-5 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Fine Arts Building.
