Start Strong. Transfer with Confidence.
Pharmacists play a vital role in modern healthcare, serving as the final checkpoint before medications reach patients. They ensure prescriptions are accurate, verify that drugs are safe based on a patient’s health history and current medications, and make informed recommendations on the best treatment options. Pharmacists also educate patients, collaborate with healthcare providers, and help manage chronic conditions.
If you enjoy science, math, and helping others, pharmacy offers a rewarding and impactful career path. As the population ages, the demand for skilled pharmacists continues to rise—bringing with it strong job opportunities, competitive salaries, and excellent work-life balance.
Barton’s Pre-Professional Pharmacy program is designed to provide the foundational coursework needed to transfer into a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program. You'll complete general education and prerequisite science courses that also fulfill requirements for a Barton degree.
Please note: This degree track does not include clinical training and does not result in a professional credential. It is designed to prepare you for successful transfer into an accredited program.
