Children aged 3-11 who love being creative can enjoy an afternoon of artistic expression led by Barton Dance Theatre students from 2-5 p.m. Sept. 26 in the Fine Arts Building.
Tickets are $25 per child and $10 per additional sibling (up to 3 siblings) and are available at shows.bartonccc.edu.
The camp includes classes taught by Barton Dance students in dance, visual art, tumbling, and acting. There will also be a snack and story time. All proceeds will go back into the Barton Dance Department to help fund Dance student activities and travel expenses.
Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator and Dance Instructor Danika Bielek said the dance students chose this year’s camp theme to support the goal of helping attendees build confidence.
“The dance students are involved in developing this camp, from the theme to the fun activities kids will do,” she said. “They decided on the superheroes theme to help children to discover their own unique superpowers they can share with the world.”
