The Barton Community College Library will team up with the English department and Barton’s literary annual “Prairie Ink” staff to host a “Spooky” writing workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Barton Library in the Cavanaugh Room, or on Zoom at https://bartonccc-edu.zoom.us/j/2440236758.
The workshop will focus on building tension in writing with a gothic flair. The workshop is built around collaboration with some of the editors of “Prairie Ink,” faculty and staff from Barton, and community members. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring whatever writing projects they’re working on to discuss with others after the main workshop.
