Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble hosted by Barton nets $3,250

Captain Danny L. Banks, Executive Officer (right), on behalf of Lieutenant Colonel Samuel C. Valdes, Soldier Recovery Unit Commander, accepts a check for $3,250 from Barton Community College representative Kurtis Teal, Dean of Military Academics, Technical Education, and Outreach Programs.

Barton Community College sponsored the Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble on September 18, 2020 at the Rolling Meadows Golf Course near Fort Riley. The money goes directly to supporting wounded soldiers at Fort Riley.

Sponsors included Eagle Radio, Manhattan Broadcasting, Cycle City, Briggs Motors, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, Sports Academy of Wichita, Rolling Meadows Golf Course, Dave and Dana Foss, the Barton Community College Golf Team, Doug and Michelle Kaiser and Kathy Boeger.
