Barton Community College to host iPad & iPhone training course

Barton Community College will offer an iPad and iPhone training course 6:30-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays Oct. 20 - Nov. 12 in the Technical Building, room T-115.

This course will cover beginner and intermediate iPad and iPhone appli­cations and features including social media use, podcasts, taking and sharing photos and more. The focus will then shift to advanced apps.  The class is designed for teachers, students, business owners, employees and IT support staff.

Matt Connell will be the instructor.  He is an Assistant Technology Facilitator with the Garden City Public School District and provides various technolo­gy services to students.  Matt is also a Kansas Infinitec Coalition member pro­viding iPad and other technology trainings around the State of Kansas. In addition to working with various school districts, Matt and his wife Anna own and operate Connell Enterprises, a full service web design firm located in Larned.
