Barton Dance Theatre is offering a “Dancing for Mobility” class for adults looking to improve balance, strength, and body awareness while also learning a wide range of dance styles from the safety of their home. The six-week class meets from 1:30-2:40 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting Monday, May 11.

Participants can sign up by calling the Enrollment office at (620) 792-9252 and using the course numbers DANC 1003 CRN-30724. Participants need to have a computer, laptop, tablet or other device with a camera and internet service. Barton County residents over 65 at the time of enrollment can qualify for the Silver Promise Scholarship and may be eligible to receive a scholarship for the amount of their tuition. This is an automatic benefit and does not require application. For those under 65, the cost is $107 for Barton County residents and $114 for other in-state students.
