The Barton Dance Theatre will host “We Love Animals” Creative Virtual Camp for Kids fundraiser from 2-3:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and tickets will be available through bartonccc.booktix.com for $10 per child and $5 for additional siblings.
Kids aged 4-12 years will learn a dance, have an acting class, join in an interactive storytelling session, do animal science activities and more! Activities will be age-appropriate and the children will virtually attend in groups defined by their ages, with some parental assistance needed for young children.
All proceeds raised from the event will help fund the dance students’ expenses for working with professional choreographers and a modern dance company this spring. This exposure to the broader world of dance helps our students network with others in the field and gain more understanding of what it’s like to work as a professional dancer.
