Verification FAQ

Verification FAQ

At Barton Community College, we are committed to maintaining a secure and accurate admissions process. As part of this commitment, some applicants may be required to verify their identity through our official identity verification system.

If selected for verification, you will be asked to provide a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID and a selfie to confirm your identity.

After submitting your application, you may receive a text message with instructions for completing the identity verification process. Please note: your application cannot move forward until the verification process has been successfully completed.

Once your documents have been submitted, you will receive an on-screen confirmation. If your identity is successfully verified, your application will continue through the admissions process. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted using the email address provided on your application.

Dual Enrollment and international students are not included in this process and should follow their designated enrollment procedures.
