Math

Barton's mathematics curriculum provides coursework at the freshman and sophomore levels, many of which provide transferable college credit that is cost-efficient and centered around student success. Whether you are working on improving your skills in mathematics or needing a class to transfer to another university, we can help you to achieve your goals.

Employment opportunities for students educated and skilled in mathematics and STEM-related fields have grown rapidly in recent years. As a student you want a high quality education that offers many paths that allow you to achieve your educational goals. At Barton we offer three math pathways Which encourage students to enroll in college-level mathematics courses more relevant to the student's program of study. This helps students progress through their education more efficiently.

  • Students pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) program may choose to enroll in either College Algebra or Calculus I in STEM Pathway.
  • Students studying business and accounting may choose to enroll in a statistics course in the STAT (Statistics) pathway.
  • Students working in a non-STEM area such as the arts or humanities may choose to enroll in Liberal Arts Math in the Liberal Arts or QUANT (Quantitative) pathway.

Be sure to contact an advisor today to enroll and we look forward to seeing you online or in the classroom!
