Oct 14

Barton Community College will host student recitals at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6, Nov. 20, and Dec. 4 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building. The recitals are free and open to the public.

Oct 14

The Barton Community College Library will team up with the English department and Barton’s literary annual “Prairie Ink” staff to host a writing workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Cavanaugh Room in the Barton Library.

Oct 10

The Barton Community College Theatre Department will hold auditions for its spring production of the new musical “Sing, Sing Blues,” by Barton Psychology Instructor Eric Smith at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3 in the Fine Arts Auditorium, and all roles and technical positions will be cast on those two days.

Oct 7

The Barton Theatre Department will present a comedic romp through the prose of one of the most recognized literary figures in the world with its production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, with various showtimes from Oct. 17-19 in the Cavanaugh Room in the Barton Library.
