Those wanting to help save lives and be a part of a vital industry can apply for Barton’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) programs now through July 31.
As members of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society, Barton students have the opportunity to celebrate their academic achievements, but they also spend their time volunteering and finding ways to help others and this “May Day,” they’ve done just that by preparing “May Day Baskets” for those who could benefit from the uplifting tradition.
Barton Community College and Larned State Correctional Facility (LSCF) honored the achievements of LSCF residents at their annual learning celebration on April 10.
Barton’s Dance Department will host the “Moving in the Heartland” Dance Festival at 7 p.m. April 26 and 27 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. General admission tickets are five dollars at the door. Children and Barton students get in for free.
Barton Community College has announced its list of graduates who earned associate degrees or certificates for career training during the fall semester of 2023.
The Barton Music Department will host its annual Endowment Concert to raise funds for music student scholarships at 7:30 p.m. May 9 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
