Those wanting to help save lives and be a part of a vital industry can apply for Barton’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) programs now through July 31.
Barton Community College will be closed April 18 and April 21 for Easter break. Barton's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery will also be closed. The college's regular class schedule and office hours will resume April 22.
The Barton Music Department will host its annual Endowment Concert to raise funds for music student scholarships at 7:30 p.m. May 6 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton Community College continues to prioritize student well-being through its mental health services, a commitment which was recently recognized as Director of Counseling Services Jacquelyn “Jakki” Maser received the Kansas Counseling Association’s (KCA) Counselor of the Year award.
Barton Community College hosted a signing ceremony April 3 with Pratt Community College (PCC) to reaffirm their commitment to providing Nursing education in Pratt and the surrounding area.
In partnership with Women4Kansas, Barton Community College will welcome Miss Kansas 2024, Alexis Smith, as a special guest speaker at 7 p.m. April 17 in the Fine Arts Auditorium; the event is free and open to the public.
