Barton Community College's Modern Language curriculum is designed to provide the general education requirement and core Modern Languages courses for students who plan to transfer to a four year college or university to complete a bachelor's degree in Modern Language or related field. In addition to level 1 and level 2 courses in Spanish, French and German, we offer a variety of different and unique transfer electives including Conversational Spanish, Spanish in the Workplace and American Sign Language. Electives must meet the requirements of the transfer institution. Students should coordinate with their advisor for transfer requirements.
