Barton Community College will present a student recital of instrumental and vocal performances at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in the Fine Arts Building, F-157. The recital is free and open to the public.
The recital will involve students of Keyboard Instructor Karole Erikson, Director of Instrumental Studies Steve Lueth and Voice Instructor Glenna Gaunt. Barton music students are an eclectic group made up of traditional college students, area high school students enrolled for college credit and area adults studying for their own enjoyment. They will perform a variety of selections in a variety of different styles including musical theatre, classical and new age.
This recital will feature performances from the following students: Britney Willard of Claflin, Siarra Taylor of Wakefield, Colleen Hampton of Great Bend, Rebecca Harmison of Dighton, Kolton Landreth of Wichita, Paige Crocker of Olathe, Daniel Melton of Hillsboro, Anastasia Thomas of Hoisington, Michael Raymer of Great Bend, Tasha Dieser of Salina, Morgan Moyd of Great Bend, Taylor Lampe of Great Bend and Rebecca Harmison of Dighton.
