Broadway @ Barton is an intensive residential two-week high school musical theatre program running June  15 through June 27, 2014.

Students accepted to Broadway @ Barton will receive professional musical theatre training in Vocal production, Music Theory, Movement, Improvisation, Costuming, Scenic painting, Acting for musical theatre, Make-up for Theatre, and Auditioning.

Students will be cast in a full scale musical theatre production to be performed on the last day of the program. This summer's production is the musical comedy,Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Program fees include campus housing and meals, program materials, and 3 college credit hours through Barton Community College. In addition, a free outing is planned for Camp Aldrich which includes a day of horseback riding, swimming, hiking, and games. 

Cost for the entire program is $700 per student.

Broadway @Barton is staffed by professional musical theatre instructors and current Barton theatre majors. Supervision will be by faculty and camp counselors. In addition, Barton Campus Security will be monitoring the grounds 24/7. 

Parents are invited to the final performance and closing ceremony on June 27th, beginning at 7:30pm in Barton's newly renovated Fine Arts Auditorium.
